July in Croatia

July or Srpanj in Croatian is part of the peak season for tourists traveling to the beautiful beaches this country has to offer. There are so many festivals to choose from that all begin in July that I am just going to make bullet points for each of them. Many of the festivals continue throughout the rest of the summer season. You will have a hard time deciding which one to attend or figuring out how to see them all.

Porec Open Air - Festival of Life

Summer on Gradina

- the largest cultural festival in Croatia


Ultra Europe Music Festival

Pula Film Festival

- July 13th-21st

- takes place in the open-air Arena colosseum

- most visited cultural event in Croatia

- competition of Croatian films, international program and youth program

Split Summer

- begins July 14th

- opera, drama, ballet, concerts, movies, exhibitions, performances and street theatre

- many events take place in the national theatre, HNK Split


Fresh Island Festival

- takes place at Zrce Beach on the island of Pag

International Folklore Festival
